David is a producer. He has been Artistic Director and CEO of Battersea Arts Centre (BAC) since 2004. Battersea Arts Centre’s purpose is to inspire people to take creative risks to shape the future. He has reshaped BAC and overseen a £13.3m development of Battersea’s former Town Hall. Prior to working at BAC, David was Director of Your Imagination (2001-2004); Development Producer at BAC (1999-2001); and Director of the Lion & Unicorn Theatre (1998-1999). He has also worked as a teacher in secondary and higher education. David was Chair of Kneehigh Theatre from 2008-2013, and Chair of the London Theatre Consortium from 2012-2015. He is an active member of What Next? movement.
